What is the relation between these two?

Why people are scared to lift weight?

Why people are not seeing immediate results?

I’ve been lifting since 2011 and it’s always been one of the core components of my life.

Reason? Different day different reason.

Some days it’s for Muscle

Some days it’s for Burning fat

Some days it’s for Positivity

Some days it’s for Strength

Some days it’s an Outlet to relieve my stress

Some days it’s for unleashing the anger

Some days it’s for a Mental preparation

Some days it’s for Feeling better

Some days it’s for High. Yes. Motion beats Meditation.

Some days it’s for Preparation for a party

Some days it’s for Confidence

Some days it’s for Eating more

Some days it’s for Trying to fit in my clothes better

Some days it’s for clearing my head

Someday it’s for solving problem’s. Yes. Got answers for Life’s problems

Some days it’s for Peace

And the best part about it is that lifting has always always always sufficed me all the above. Regardless.I have a very peculiar training programs and I prefer switching it every now and then. But let’s talk about it another day.


Relation between Weight-Lifting & Weight-Loss:

Firstly, muscle is denser than fat. A Kg of muscle and a Kg looks much different in size. It’s like comparing kg of cotton and a kg of steel. That means 2 people with a weight of 80 kg each will look so much different in size if the body fat % is 15 and 30 receptively . Get the idea? In a nutshell, the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn. Your body needs a lot of energy to carry muscle unlike fat. That means your body is looking at your muscle like a liability. Metabolism will sky rocket — The result of this equation? BURNING FAT ALL DAY ALL NIGHT. I can’t make it anymore clearer.


Why People are Scared to Lift:

Most women and even some men say I don’t want to look muscular or I don’t want to look bulky. That’s what really cracks the heck outta me. People are totally cool being fat. But not okay to look muscular. And of course, muscles are not to go in front of 10000 people and start flexing. That’s a whole different game altogether. That’s not the idea. The idea of building muscles is to live a healthy and a strong life. Oh yeah, ladies, please. You don’t produce that amount of testosterone to build those guns. And I’ve not seen a single person with good muscle and low confidence. If someone is carrying a good amount of muscle, that means they know what they’re doing. That’s discipline right there screaming. See, if you’re consistent with certain types of training, it’ll leave you with 2 things. One, it’ll develop a sense of consistency and discipline. Number 2 is your body will eventually hit a plateau. Which brings me to the next segment.

Why people are not seeing the immediate results?

Which I just covered. Whatever the training methods you incorporate, and have consistency and discipline in it, you need to switch up the types to shock up the system. Our body is a brilliant mechanism that will do everything with its powers to keep us FAT. It doesn’t know fat is bad. All the new age lifestyle leading us to new age diseases. Our grandmother never complained about depression cause she was active enough. I mean think about it. If a baby that is happy will move and jump around or a baby that is sad will do the same? Make sure you MOVE that ass. It’s god for you. And always switching up your training methods will give you the results regardless.
